834. Finding that first gray hair

So every morning before departing to work you brush your teeth, you wash your face, you check yourself over lean in for a closer look then there it is…how can it be?  A gray hair, but I’m only 27?  Nooo you have to be kidding me, you try…

* Closing the mini blind yeah it’s the morning sun…no still white looking

* It”s dust I’ll brush it off, nope still there…

* It’s too many light on in the bathroom, go in the dim lit bedroom and look in the vanity mirror, yeah it’s definitely gray…

Grr no tweezers – oh well.

Now how awfully shady is that?!

835. When someone leaves a few seconds left on the microwave

You know you’re waiting to heat up your sandwich and there it is that 14 / 10/ 2 seconds left sitting there staring at you in the eyes.  How do numbers stare at you?!  They do, trust they do.  That evil green matrix style numbers eating at your soul when they lay there on the microwave display screen because SOMEONE forgot to clear the screen back to “0”.  Just stop doing it!

How awfully 14 annoying is that?!

839: Red Marks Left on Your Face by Glasses

Tattooed Glasses

Hopefully it won't hurt this bad!

Well although these may come as complications it’s even harder when you readjust the frame to hold at a better grip to your face.  Then you’re off doing al your day’s chores, events, and tasks and then you come home throw down your keys and plop on the couch and take your glasses off.  The searing pain from the glasses weigh in on your face and you hold the spot by the bridge of your nose.  By pinching, we’re enforcing the impressions left by the glasses.  Walking into the bathroom we stand there to wash our face and see the marks left behind as they stare back at you, yup those marks left by the glasses.  Hello, look at me!

Awful!

841. Taking down and packing away holiday decorations

Finally, the new year has settled in and the hype of the winter holidays are over.  We are finishing off the first week into the new year and the glimmer and excitement of Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, New year’s, & Three King’s Day are all over…so as most would tend to put away their holiday decor either the day after Christmas or New Year’s, I wait till after Jan. 6th.  In part because it’s the lasting touch of the new year’s light and Three King’s Day.  What holiday is that?! – take a look here We Wise Merry Men.

However, the distressing part comes when you have to take down the tree and pack away all the decor; grab the boxes and start taking it all down!  Finding extra spaces for the newly accumulated ornaments, the new linen, and also having to take down the lights off the roof, trees, and off the mantle.  It can be quite a laborious task so go ahead and take your time this weekend and get to packing!

Awful!

845. Writing the old year down on paper

Did you forget the year has changed already?!

It’s quite an easy mistake when you’re swiftly writing out a check or filling out a form, just make sure not to do it again!

Happy NEW YEAR 2010 2011!

848. Passing out at a holiday party

The party has just begun and after 3 or 4 drinks you’re feeling the effects and well you just literally pass out.  N one truly enjoys waking up the next day with a hangover and then hearing all of the awful stories from the night before and to look in the mirror and find crude comments on your face.  Hope you better not have to work the next day!  That’ll be surely a tragic scene.  So no matter how hard you’re partying, do it safely and responsibly, besides you’ll not want your pictures or videos to be posted online for all to gawk at for their pleasure.  Embarassing(ly) hilarious like this person:

849. Still hearing Christmas Carols after the holiday is over

You’d figure after 3 or so months filled with these joyous carols that they would turn it off right after the big holiday, but apparently the season has not died since I believe they will be chiming in the holiday spirit till December 31st.

Is that the last official day to play the holiday music?

Are people still in the cheery spirit or does it just irritate them any more?!  I haven’t seen any carolers this year so I guess it’s safe to say the spirit will slow down to make way for New year’s Eve frenzy!  How awful is that?
