958. Realizing that you threw away a receipt /item you need

So you’re making your way home and you tote your bags to your place and then after settling in put away the items and then place the grocery/store bags in the trash.  Come to find out that a few days later has gone by and then you realize that you need some of that chapstick you bought.

Hmm, didn’t you just get it from the store the other day??? As you check where you store your items you realize that you trashed the item when you put the bag away in the garbage and had already took it down to the trash dumpster.  Well there goes those lovely chapped lips.  Thankfully I didn’t need to return those jeans I bought, now how awful is that?!

968. That one piece of string that will not get sucked up by the vacuum

View Image

As you are cleaning your house on your Saturday weekly spruce up ritual you get to the rabid cleansing task of vacuuming.  Not only to ignore the guests with loud suction noises that drone back and forth that you wish would end.

As you are passing your vacuüm along you come across a string from most likely your shirt or pant that fell off and it lays there lifeless on the mass sea of carpet.  As you pass over the vacuüm doesn’t seem to suck up the string.  You try again for another attempt.

Failed again.

So in an even bolder attempt to make sure that it gets picked up.  You bend down, pick up the string maneuver some so it sticks up, and proceed to pass the machine over it.  It works!

Then you realize that as you move into the next room as you vacuüm the string comes back out onto the carpet and lies there scraggily laughing at you.

Now how awful is that?!

Don’t feel like time is slipping away, there is always a second longer to get in that extra laugh – just go out there and make the best of it, because as the next 10 years roll by quickly ahead, you’ll realize I could’ve wondering, now how awful is that?!

995. You get a little bit more trimmed

You’re at your local barber shop a la hair style salon and they are working away cutting your hair.  As they are putting the last final touches they ask “round or squared”?  Not sure what looks best you pick an option and  then they trim your sideburns.

After a few minutes they hand you the mirror to look at the trim.  Then as you are looking you notice one sideburn seems to be shorter than the other and then the barber agrees and trims making it just a bit worse than before now it’s even shorter than the other.

You get it finally fixed and now get the final spin and notice the “buzz” patch in the back of your head…

Now how awful is that?
